Opening an email from the site or clicking a link inside it triggers a simple, automatic record. Our system logs the date and time when the mail is viewed, and notes when the User interacts with incoming mail, such as by clicking on links included in the email. This is a standard operational function, allowing us to maintain a database of subscription-based contacts and see how messages are being received, without any manual intervention.
You are not locked into a passive role regarding your information. At any time, you can consult the Data Controller to learn about the contents and origin of your data, and verify its accuracy. From there, you have the ability to request several specific actions. Your data can be supplemented, cancelled, updated or corrected if it’s incomplete or wrong. You can ask for it to be transformed into an anonymous format, or to be blocked if it is held in violation of the law. Beyond these corrections, you can also oppose the treatment of your data for any and all legitimate reasons. Simply direct your request to the Data Controller using the contact details provided at the end of this page. Additional context about how specific services process data is also available upon request.
There are defined, limited scenarios where your Personal Data might be disclosed. The Data Controller may use this information for legal purposes, whether in Court or during preliminary stages leading to potential legal action, specifically in cases involving improper use of this Application or the related services. Separately, the Data Controller could be required to reveal Personal Data upon request of public authorities.
On a purely technical level, the ongoing operation and maintenance of our platform involves the collection of certain data. This Application and any third-party services may collect System Logs, which are files that record interactions, or use other Personal Data, such as an IP Address, for this purpose.
This Application does not support “Do Not Track” requests sent by your browser. Since our system does not respond to this signal, understanding how third-party services handle it requires reviewing the privacy policies of any third-party services we use to determine whether they honor the “Do Not Track” requests independently.
The Data Controller reserves the right to make changes to this Privacy Policy at any time by giving notice to its Users on this page. We recommend checking this page often, referring to the date of the last modification listed at the bottom. Unless stated otherwise, the then-current privacy policy applies to all Personal Data the Data Controller has about Users. If a User objects to any of the changes, the User must cease using this Application and can request that the Data Controller erase the Personal Data.
For more details concerning the collection or processing of Personal Data, requests can be made to the Data Controller at any time. Please direct all inquiries to us.
